The Port of Marciana Marina is a well-protected harbor, with an over-billow pier built of artificial tetrapod boulders and a under-billow pier. The breakwater pier is equipped with floating docks for mooring boats. The main lighthouse has green flashes with a period of 4 seconds and a range of 8 nautical miles, located at the head of the pier. The seafloor is sandy and rocky, with depths ranging from 4 to 8 meters in the breakwater and from 2 to 8 meters inside the harbor.
The harbor can accommodate up to 115 berths, with a maximum length of 30 meters per boat. The prevailing winds are grecale and sirocco, while the main crosswind comes from the tramontana. The harbor offers good shelter from noon and libeccio winds, and the nearest safe havens are Portoferraio and the Gulf of Biodola. Among the services available, the harbor offers mooring assistance, diver service, fuel station, potable and industrial water, electricity, showers and toilets, weather service and radio listening on VHF channel 09.
Management of the Marciana Marina Landing was sub-granted to the San Vincenzo Marina Society S.p.A. by the Municipality of Marciana Marina. The regulations and their updates are available on the office bulletin board for consultation by users and can be requested by interested parties. Users accessing the Landing areas are required to know and comply with the rules contained in the regulations. Customers with boats moored at the dock or at the floating docks receive a badge for entry to the restrooms.
