Darsena Medicea - Marina di Portoferraio

In the Marina di Portoferraio (city harbor) you are absolutely centrally located, right in the center of the beautiful old town. The prices are reasonable for such a central location (we paid around 60 euros for our 12 meters). The harbor staff are friendly and courteous. You have to walk a good distance to the sanitary facilities. There is also a charge. We didn't feel any or only minimal swell from the ferries. At night it is quite loud from the bars, cars and especially loud motorcycles drive or pose around the harbor basin, which is located directly by the road. However, the flair of the city is unique. We simply threw ourselves into the nightlife and enjoyed "La Dolce Vita" :-).
