Piso Gialos

Piso Gialos Harbour is near the town of Kapsali in Kapsali Bay in the south of the island of Kythira. The harbour lies in the east of the bay and is very shallow, therefore yachts cannot moor here. It is possible to moor with a dinghy at a water depth of less than 1 m as long as there is space in the harbour. Vacate the harbour when the wind blows from the south as it then gets dangerous in the harbour. Regardless of the wind direction, there is always a swell in the harbour. Alternatively, anchor off the beach in the west of Kapsali Bay. The swimming area has to be kept clear. Shopping amenities and taverns are within walking distance.
