Port Herceg Novi

Port Herceg Novi is located in the center of Herceg Novi Town. It has a capacity of 40 berths. The port is particularly exposed to N and SW winds and waves. In strong southerly conditions the waves roll over the breakwater. The storms from the NW direction are developing the waves. The port is well protected from other winds. When sailing in and out, sailors should pay attention to the two rocks that are located about 200 meters NW from the head of the breakwater and on the underwater rocks in the extension. In the northern, shallower part of the water area, pay attention to the multitude of concrete anchor blocks at the bottom whose height in some cases reaches one meter. The vicinity of the airport and Adriatic Highway makes this destination desirable and highly visited in summertime.
