difficulties arise. Due to the good lighting, you’ll have no problems entering during the night. Currently, there are about 70 berths available in Skiathos Marina on a pontoon and a pier on the west. An expansion was planned for many years for up to 350 berths, but has not been implemented yet.

Unfortunately not all berths have mooring lines available and own anchor is often indispensable. On the pontoon there are electricity and water connections, but they are not always ready for use and the water is not always enjoyable. The surrounding taverns also cause a significant noise in the harbor, which is separated from the morning traffic noise and the airport's flight path (located just northeast of the port). There are no sanitary facilities in Skiathos Marina; the fuel is delivered in a tanker.

Shopping
Skiathos town has good supply options. Directly at the pier there is a small, well-stocked supermarket, and a second, slightly larger is a few hundred meters further north. At the fish market (south of the city) you can buy fresh fish and seafood.

Food and Leisure
Along the pier and in the center of Skiathos town, there are countless restaurants, taverns and bars that have opened during the season.

In the old town of Skiathos you will find many interesting churches, imposing houses and winding streets and on the Bourtzi peninsula are the remains from the 13th Century. Today, it’s an open-air theater, where concerts and art exhibitions are offered.
