Parga Harbour lies in the west of Ormos Valtou Bay and is protected by a breakwater. Yachts moor with a long line on the eastern side of the breakwater at a water depth of up to 6 m. It is shallow right at the breakwater. In the small harbour, which is approx. 100 m wide, the water can be up to 2 m deep. It is also shallow right behind the breakwater, therefore it makes sense to moor bow-to. Many locals and visitors also moor at the beach, the water gets shallow quickly, therefore only small yachts should moor here. It is difficult to manoeuvre in the small harbour especially in high season and it is not rare for yachts to sail backwards when leaving the harbour. The high town quay and the jetty in the north of the bay are reserved for locals and ferries. Many taverns and shopping amenities can be found in the town.
