Plataria

Plataria is a small harbour located in the north-east of Ormos Plataria on the Greek mainland. Visitors can moor stern-to at the breakwater built in 2011. The end of the breakwater was built so low that half of it stands under water even when the weather conditions are normal. The harbour can shelter yachts with prevailing north or north-westerly winds up to a wind force of about 8-9. The waves will sometimes crash over the breakwater when it is very windy, . Water and electricity can be bought for a small fee. There are a few taverns and shopping amenities in the village. The adjacent and long sandy beach is not only predestined for children. You will enjoy swimming in the gloriously clear water.
