Borce bay buoy field

Great spot close to Hvar Town. We anchored in the buoy field as it was full. There is plenty of swing space and good hold. The outer area is affected by swell in the night. Would highly recommend Moli Onte restaurant - the food is great and they also collect and take you back to your boat.

Das große Bojenfeld in der Bucht ist mit einer offiziellen Kozession jetzt an nur noch einer Konoba der Bucht gebunden. Der Wirt (“Port Authority”) passt nun sehr genau auf, dass dort nur Boote festmachen, die auch in seiner Konoba reserviert haben. Er lässt das Bojenfeld lieber halb leer und zwingt alle anderen, in der Bucht zu ankern. Zum Glück hat die Konoba Moli Onte ebenfalls die ein oder andere Boje in der Bucht. Ich kann nur empfehlen, das Bojenfeld zu meiden und direkt in der Konoba Moli Onte anzurufen. Die Konoba ist traumhaft und sehr , sehr nett!!

Wir waren Mitte Mai in der Bucht und lagen an der Boje. Die Bucht ist wirklich sehr schön und das Wasser glasklar. Die Bojen machen einen soliden Eindruck und die Mitarbeiter waren ausnahmslos freundlich. Wir konnten auch unseren Müll abgeben. Für Service und einen sicheren Liegeplatz bezahle ich gerne ein paar Euro. Da haben wir in Kroatien schon ganz Anderes erlebt.

Just ask for the consession, if someone is bothering you. If they show something, just ask if it is an official document. If they try to force you away, call the police or coast guard!

The buoy field has been build without concession and is therefore illegal. You are not forced to pay neither to go to a specific restaurant when you tow you ship to a buoy. Because of the buoys no possibility to anchor, and is a good reason to use the buoys. So, next time, don't be shy, use the buoys, and don't be forced to pay! Pay whatever you want to pay, when you feel uncomfortable. But never pay the full amount that has been named!
