Moorings in Porto Montenegro
Super- and Megayachts berths at the southern part of jetty 1 or alongside of the head. The smaller yachts under 20 meters berth mostly on the west side of jetty 4 but also on the north side of jetty 1. In any case, the marina must be contacted via VHF channel 71 or telephone upon arrival. The dock staff is available 24/7 and assign the berth. On request, a strong dinghy provides berthing assistance. A pilot is mandatory for yachts over 1,000 GRT. The marina has long-term, annual and guest berths and offers 'allaround carefree' packages.

Porto Montenegro is also a playground for the rich and the super rich of the world. This is not only due to the 5 star marina equipment but also thanks to the duty and tax free fuel, which can be bunkered here much cheaper than in other Mediterranean ports. With a 20,000 liter refueling you can quickly save up to 16,000 euros. Of course, also the smaller yachts benefit from the cheap fuel.

More than just a marina

Porto Montenegro is more than just a marina in a class of its own. In addition to the densely crowded luxury and mega yachts, noble residences, specialty restaurants, a luxury hotel, bars, sports facilities, futuristic swimming pools and boutiques of the top price segment were built: at times, the champagne feeling known for St. Moritz prevails also in Porto Montenegro. But not only: the resort management understands it through many events such as the weekly farmer's market, where fresh produce from the region are offered, concerts, lectures, wine tastings, culinary evenings and much more to keep the guests stylishly on a whim.

Porto Montenegro’s marina dock staff are available 24 hours and MUST be contacted before arrival and prior to departure. Upon arrival, please provide the following information: Vessel name Vessel length Berth code (if known) Last port of call (if arriving from a foreign port see our Clearance Information Sheet) ENTERING THE MARINA The entrance to the marina is marked with red and green lights at night – the green light on the head of N breakwater while the red light is on the head of Jetty 5. Keep clear of Jetty 4 (outer side) due to shallow waters (marked with orange buoys). PILOTAGE Pilotage is compulsory for all boats of over 1000 GRT (gross register tonnes). The Pilot may be organised through our Yacht Assist team and the Pilot boarding station is on the entrance of the bay (for arrivals). ASSISTANCE The assistance of a small dinghy boat may also be requested on VHF channel 71. The dock crew will be standing by for arrival and departure.

What I liked:

Very safe berths, freindly and qualified staff, price reasonable

What I didn't like:

It is s world on it´s own. Who wants to see the real Montenegro needs to go somewhere else.

Marina der Superlative - aber erschwinglich

What I liked:

Die Marina ist auf jeden Fall sehenswert und weniger teuer als verschiedene Marinas in Kroatien, die bei weitem nicht so einen hohen Standard haben.

What I didn't like:

Es ist eine Megamarina und ein wenig unpersönlich obwohl alle Mitarbeiten durchaus sehr freundlich sind.
