Astakos is a small town port with few berths for visitors. Moore with bow anchor and stern line . Good protection against winds from northerly directions, but completely exposed to the south
There are several restaurants and provision possibilities in the town.
Users report that even at night large trawlers leave or come into the harbour and create unpleasant swell. The effluents of the place are probably discharged untreated into the harbor.
