The first marina to be built in the Lignano area was Darsena Porto Vecchio. It was built in 1986 as a natural and fishing harbour overlooking the Marano lagoon and has developed over the years into a modern marina. Its advantageous location in the centre of the city makes it a much sought-after mooring, central but quiet.
