ontrol tower is not to be overlooked and the entrance between the pier top and the cliffs on land is very tight, but free of obstacles and lit-up at night. Prior to entering, you should announce yourself to the marina office via radio. A boat waits at the entrance to accompany the yacht at their assigned berth and, if necessary, to assist docking.

Along 260 water berths docking is well protected and for each place there’s a power and water connection available. Along the southern outer pier some of the berths are reserved for mega yachts and on land are further 170 parking spaces on a dry dock. The two sanitary buildings in the western and eastern part of Samos marina are equipped with showers and toilets, and in the eastern basin is a petrol station. Around the site are also plenty of parking spaces available.

Shopping
The Samos marina has a mini market. For larger errands, it is advisable to go directly to Pithagorion town. There are several supermarkets, two bakeries and a butcher shop. You can buy fresh fish at the local fish shop.

Food and Leisure
In addition to the restaurant and the café bar in the Marina are in Pithagorion dozens of other restaurants, taverns and bars available which have mainly Greek and Mediterranean cuisine specialties.
Pithagorion was built on the ruins of the ancient city of Samos and still offers many attractions from this period. The best known are the tunnels of Eupalinos (dating from the 6th Century BC when they were used as a water supply line to the city) and the ancient city walls. The findings of various excavations can be seen in the newly opened archaeological museum.
