ignal lighthouse; another lighthouse is located near the harbor area, signaling the southern prominence of the promontory.
The small harbor of Talamone is bordered to the north by a 60-m pier, to the south by a jetty of about 40 m; at 140 m from the jetty departs a breakwater of about 180 meters.
The seabed is mud and sand and the depths are 2 to 3.50 m.
Maximum boat length is about 12/14 m; 24 m at the dock for transit.
Some berths have water and power. There is a fuel station within the harbor.
Talamone is a small town located in the southern end of the Uccellina Mountains, in the municipality of Orbetello. It is a very old town with a rich history, just a step away from the Maremma Natural Park. It stands on a low rocky promontory, only 32 meters above sea level.
Talamone has some very characteristic coves. The seabed on the north side is rocky and therefore also suitable for snorkeling.
