Description

Yachts can moor bow-to or stern-to at the piers in the harbour basin further to the north or also at the larger harbour further south. Water is available at the pier. Today, the former fishing village is populated by a few yachties and many international surfers as Vasiliki is one of the most popular surfing spots worldwide.

Small harbour, touristic

Nice harbour with lot´s of restaurants and bars. Nice beach.

Nach dem Ausbau sind kritische Wassertiefen bei der Einfahrt nicht in Erinnerung. Geankert wird vor der Mole im nördlichen Hafenbecken. Die im südlichen Teil gelegene Marina ist eine Invest.-Ruine. Wir haben gegenüber am südwestlichen Kai längsseits gelegen. Kein Wasser, kein Strom, kein Sanitär, kein Hafenmeister. Netter, lebhafter Ort, der rund um die Bucht mit seinen diversen Gaststätten und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten liegt.

Die Hafeneinfahrt ist nur minimal tiefer als 2 Meter, wenn man sich möglichst nahe am Wellenbrecher hält. Weiter Richtung Mitte wird es sogar noch flacher!! Bei Welle sollte man nur mit äußerster Vorsicht einfahren. Bei NW Winden ist es etwas unruhig, bei starken Winden aus NW sollte man sich besser einen anderen Hafen aussuchen.
