Description

Small harbour on the W side of Corfu. Usually occupied by local fishing- and tripper boats. You can anchor and take a line to to breakwater. Paleokastritsa is a picturesque village where you can find tavernas and bars.

STAY CLOSE TO THE HEAD OF THE MOLE TO AVOID THE ROCKS ON THE N SIDE

Approach

Approach by night is difficult and not recommended. At the entrance ti the harbour it is best to stay close to the head of the mole to avoid easily visible rocky shoal on the N side

Anchor ground and holding

The bottom is sand. The anchor holds good or very good.
