Visitors can moor at the quay located outside of the harbour basin Mediterranean style (stern-to) as well as alongside. However, sudden swells in the bay have been known to rip out the belaying cleats off the yachts that have moored alongside.
The quay is perfect when there is a south wind, but totally unsuitable when a north wind blows. There are bollards at the quay where you can belay your lines. You have to let out a lot of anchor chain but it will hold.
