Description
The speciality of Konoba Joseph in Polace is - besides fresh fish and seafood - the traditional Peka. This is a famous Dalmatian dish of vegetables and meat or seafood—lamb and octopus are favourites, ingredients are placed in a covered pan and roasted in the embers of an open fire. They offer a rich gastronomic variety, fresh fish, grilled lobster, pasta, home grown fruits and vegetables, healthy food and home produced olive oil and an homemade wine.
In front of the Konoba Joseph are some berths which are free of charge for guests of the Konoba.

"Joseph" war früher besser
What I liked:
Der Willkommensschnaps nach dem Anlegen.
What I didn't like:
Offensichtlich hat der Besitzer gewechselt und damit verschand auch die Herzlichkeit. Die einst vielen verschiedenen Flaggen aus aller Welt sind einer kahlen weißen Wand gewichen. Das Essen und die Auswahl sind eher mäßig. Auf der Rechnung waren bestellte Dinge aufgelistet, die aber nie gebracht wurden.
Die Belästigung durch Kloakengeruch in der Nacht hat das ganze Boot durchdrungen, was auch von den Nachbarliegern bemängelt wurde.
Ankern in dieser schönen Bucht ist wohl die bessere Alternative.
