The marina Lumbarda currently does not offer any berth possibility for guests or any other kind of service (e.g. water or electricity). Please do not contact or approach the marina as there are no available berths. We will inform you as soon as the situation has changed.
The marina Lumbarda is located about 6 km east of the town Korču...
la on the island of the same name in southern Dalmatia. It provides an ideal alternative to the often crowded harbor ACI Marina Korčula but also for anyone planning a trip to the nearby national park Mljet and island Lastovo, is a great starting point. The drive-in is simple and easy to spot at the entrance to the curved breakwater at night. The marina is indeed well protected from the tides by this breakwater, but when Bora comes too strong, the wind lays in the harbor. Marina Lumbarda offers 115 berths throughout the year, all with mooring lines and electricity and water connections. However, the mooring lines are not long enough in some places and are likely to get caught in the screws. The only sanitary facilities have a limited number of showers and toilets available and you need a key to enter. However, during peak times it can lead to longer waiting times and hot water is not always available. The nearest gas station is next to the ferry pier in Korčula.
Shopping in Lumbarda Lumbarda has a supermarket and only that supermarket. However, there is a regular bus to Korčula and there are sufficient supply opportunities in the village. Next to a supermarket, a bakery and a butcher in this historic city, you can also buy fresh fruits and vegetables in the market.
Food and Leisure in Lumbarda Marina Lumbarda has a café-bar and there are many restaurants, taverns and bars that provide for the physical well-being in the area. But you can also take a taxi or the bus to Korčula to enjoy local restaurants and taverns with wider selection of fine Mediterranean dishes.
Lumbarda is a small seaside resort and you’ll have plenty of rest without much tourist offers. Korčula, on the other side, is worth seeing, with its beautiful old town, buildings and churches dating from the Roman period to the Middle Ages, and also because of the legend that the famous explorer Marco Polo was born here.
