Excellent sheltered bay. Great buoys.

What I liked:

We love this little bay a stones throw from Korcula Town. Buoys are in good condition, well spaced and reasonably priced. 170kn for -10mtr. Small Studenec supermarket at the opposite end and a surprisingly good Konoba serving simple fresh local food.
Easy 35-40 minute walk into Korcula Town or 2km in the tender.
With bad Jugo winds coming in we were safe and relatively calm here.

What I didn't like:

The new apartments in the bay have brought more guests and noise, but overall the best choice close to KT.

Angenehme, saubere und ruhige Bucht. Müll wird von einem jungen Burschen gleich mitgenommen. Coole Beachbar, dennoch kein Lärm am Abend/in der Nacht.

Sehr schöne saubere bucht ein fleissiger junge kommt mit dem boot und zeigt welche boje reserviert ist bei bojenreservierung muss mann 20 euro Aufpreis zahlen es gibt eine flasche schnaps gratis auf Anfrage hat er die Crew auch an Land gebracht taxi nach Korčula Stadt 80 kuna abends mit dem taxiboot direkt ans boot 200 kuna ideale alternative für die übervolle ACI Marina

We love the buoy field here, 8 well spaced and in good condition and easy to secure to. Small Studenec market and nice Konoba in the bay. There is easy access to KorculaTown, 35 min walk or 2km in the tender. Water is clean and good for swimming. Bay is well sheltered and the buoys have excellent holding. We have been here during a bad Jugo with no problems. New apartments in the bay have brought more people and noise, but overall nothing to worry about.

Lovely local owner met us with mooring info (buoy has 10tn block and safe up to 28m), a bottle of local grappa as a welcome and rubbish removal included in the mooring fee. 500kuna for a 53' yacht, two restaurants in the bay (the one with the purple tree was recommended) and a market in the town. Highly recommended as an alternative to Korcula town!
