ACI Marina Žut lies in a wonderful bay in the north-east of the island of the same name. Žut is the second-largest island in the Kornati archipelago and is very close to the borders of the Kornati and Telašćica National Parks. It is not permanently inhabited and the few houses on the island are either holiday apartments or seasonal restaurants.
ACI Marina Žut is open from April until the en...
d of October and has 113 berths on a long jetty, all of which have water and electricity but only at certain times of the day. Electricity is available 8 am -12 noon and 6 pm – 12 midnight. Water can be obtained 8 - 10 am.
When the Bora blows, there is a considerable swell in the marina and it is recommended to moor in the northern part of the harbour. When a Jugo wind blows the southern part is safer. Since 2011, boats have been able to moor at the buoys at ACI Marina Žut in the north of the bay.
The clean and well-kept sanitary facilities with showers and WCs are located centrally, in the middle of the jetty.
There is no fuel facility on the island of Žut. The closest fuel station is in Zaglav on the neighbouring island of Dugi Otok.
Shopping in Žut ACI Marina Žut has a small food store where you can buy basic foodstuffs. But if you want to buy fresh food, you will have to wait until the supply vessel, which provides the store with goods, has been there.
Food and leisure in Žut The marina has a restaurant, which, however, is not one of the best. If you prefer better quality, then you will find two more restaurants in the southern part of the bay, which are slightly more expensive, but serve excellent dishes. Both restaurants having mooring lines where you can moor free of charge.
You can enjoy glorious views from the mountain behind the marina. The sunset over the Kornati islands is breathtaking from here. The ascent starts form behind the sanitary facilities and takes approx. half an hour.
