Pašman on the island of Pašman is a fishing village with about 450 inhabitants. Narrow streets and surrounding vineyards provide the extra flair to this place. The harbor is protected by a breakwater. Yachts lay at depths of up to 3 m with mooring lines. At the breakwater near the coast caution is advised due to the possible shallowness. The harbor is very well protected from winds by the island of Babac. During winds from the W and NW it can be dangerous in the port and the nozzle effect in the channel (in which a speed limit of 10 knots prevails) reinforces the winds. Often, the port is occupied by local boats. Visitors flock to Pašman especially to the surrounding beaches and countryside. Various shops and restaurants are in place.
