Marina Hramina lies in the north of the island of Murter, sheltered in the bay of the same name. The island belongs to the Kornati islands and is an ideal starting point for sailing trips to the Kornati and Telašćica National Parks.
Marina Hramina operates their own charter fleet from here. So expect the harbour to get more crowded especially during the weekends.
T...
he small islands in front of the bay make it difficult to enter Marina Hramina as the passages there are extremely shallow. People unfamiliar with the area should only make the approach during the day.
Roughly half of the 370 berths at the marina, all of which have water and electricity, are permanently occupied by the charter yachts. Visiting boats usually moor on the outer side of the transit jetty. These berths can, however, get quite unpleasant when the south wind blows. There are an additional 120 dry berths for boats and yachts.
The spacious and well-kept sanitary facilities were recently renovated and are located somewhat further away from the visiting berths.
There are plenty of parking spaces along the harbour basin.
The fuel station for petrol and diesel is located a little distance outside of the marina to the south. Shopping in Murter Marina Hramina has a small food store and a chandlery. More supermarkets as well as a bakery and a butcher's shop have opened nearby along the town harbour. There is also a small fruit and vegetable market.
Food and leisure in Murter Visitors can enjoy delicious fish specialities of the island on a lovely terrace in the marina restaurant with views of the ocean. In the village, too, you will find a large selection of good restaurants and cafés around the village square, serving especially regional as well as international dishes.
Murter is an old fishing village with ruins from the settlement of Colentum and a few more buildings from the Roman era. From the church on the mountain above the village you can enjoy glorious views of the entire island.
The beaches around Murter are ideal for swimming.
