-during strong jugo anchoring N of Košljun is advised
-beware of tramontana caused summer squalls
-while sailing in refer to charts because of many unmarked shallows
-caution at night is advised because it is hard to distinguish city light from signal ones
-watch out for swimmers in strait

-sailing in the bay can be impossible with strong bura or SW wind blowing
