Description

This bay has a four arms of which two provide good shelter. The most western arm Parja is the largest and the only that provides good shelter from all winds except strong E winds. The other well sheltered arm is Rogačić to the immediate S of Parja, this arm is the only one that is inhabited, it is not so sheltered from N and NE, but is well sheltered from all other directions. The depth is in these arms is around 5 metres in the middle, and the bottom is sand and grass, so the holding is average. On the north shore of the bay there is a tunnel built by the military, even though it is a safe place to tie alongside, this is not recommended, because of rubbish and high quay. On the north point at the entrance to the bay is a rock called Rogačić which has been covered with the material from the tunnel, and therefore it makes a nice pebble beach today.
