The small harbour in Plaka Bay lies on the SE side of Cape Ak Plaka on the island of Lemnos. A breakwater on the N end of the bay provides some protection. At the outer end of the quay, yachts can moor stern-to at the quay at a water depth of up to 4 m. Alternatively, anchor on the lee side of the breakwater at a water depth of up to 5 m. There are no taverns or shopping amenities near the harbour. The village of Plaka lies about 1.5 km inland.
