The floating jetty is connected to the concrete pier but no mooring lines are available here. Whoever moors here has to put out their anchor and pay attention to the hold. Boats moored here are sheltered from the Meltemi. But when the wind blows from the south, all of the visitors' berths are exposed to the waves it can generate in the bay, which then roll onto the yachts without hindrance.

The area around the quay north of the visitors' berths is completely occupied by local boats and yachts, many of which offer day trips around Milos. The westerly area can also be used by visiting boats. Super yachts can moor alongside on the other side of the ferry dock. The water depth of 4-6 m is sufficient.

Water and electricity is available everywhere for a fee (collected by a municipal employee). In 2014 water cost 5 euros, regardless of the amount used or the length of stay and electricity cost 4 euros per day.

The mooring fees for foreign-flag yachts consist of a one-off fee of 30 cents per metre as well as a daily fee of 36 cents per metre. Greek-flagged yachts pay a daily fee of less than 1 cent per metre.
