Melissani cave is located on the east coast of the island of Kefalonia, nearly 2 km away from Sami. The caves are surrounded by forests are one of the most important sights in Kefalonia. With a length of 160 meters and 40 meters wide, is a jewel of nature that impresses the visitors. Through the sunlight from above the water shines in the most beautiful shades of blue. Visitors are driven in rowboats through the cave. Good walking distance from the port of Sami.
