Eresos Harbour lies in the SW of the island of Lesbos. Yachts moor bow-to or stern-to on the outer section of the breakwater where the water is between 2 and 6m deep. The inner section of the fishing harbour is occupied by local boats. Occasionally small yachts can moor here at a water depth of less than 2 m. The water gets very shallow towards the breakwater and the mole. The harbour is dangerous when the wind blows from S and W. Watch out for the submerged breakwater at the approach. It is best to pass Vr. Nisaki, the small island in front of the harbour, at starboard. The swimming zone is partitioned off by buoys and cannot be traversed. There are taverns and shopping amenities in Skala Erresou, which is within walking distance from the harbour.
