The small Marina Zaton near Zaton is located in northern Dalmatia, on the western end of Zaton bay. It’s the place where river Krka flows into the Adriatic Sea. The peace and quiet, the natural environment of the bay and closeness to the national parks Krka and Kornati Islands make this Marina an interesting starting point for any daytrip. It can be entered easily and without major difficulties. W...
hile the great mass of tourists head to Skradin and Krka waterfalls, one gets away in Zaton with next to nothing. In Marina Hangar are curved breakwaters extending parallel to the shore with about 30 berths and mooring lines available - an electricity and water supply is available for all. The forested southern slope gives enough shade for these berths. This marina was built mainly for permanent mooring and charter fleets but also guest boats docking one or two nights are welcome.
The sanitary facilities with showers and toilets are located on the back of the restaurant and are very simple. Great comfort is not to be expected here.
A large parking lot between the restaurant and the harbor basin offers free parking. The nearest tanking option is located in the port of Šibenik. Since 2014 Dream Yacht Charter is running a charter fleet from this base.

The sleepy village of Zaton exudes a peaceful calm, but otherwise offers no attractions. The clear water in the well protected bay ideal for swimming and diving and you can jump right into the sea from the boat.
