Savvi Marina

Following research and recieved offer we booked a berth due confirmed winter boat yard and crane availabiltiy. The summer was nice, except the partly strong northwind, where the harbour is not full protected. First dry docking for the winter did not work due whatever reason. Boat had to stay in water with full consequence of corrosion and underwater growth. Same expierence for my belgium neighbour. Next season I prepared well, talked the details of dry berthing/storage in boat yard through 4 weeks in advance.Recieved the message "just give as 3 days in advance a call". Four weeks later joining back Platamonas, asking for drydocking, several problems/impossible. I understood the previous year was not an exceptionm but the standard, I further understood the meaning of greek word "malaka"!

We visited the Savvi marina in September and discovered it at a place which is worth to stay there for some time. The location is full of life with several restaurants, bars, cafes and so on. But due to Covid they closed not too late. Dimitri and Markus are very attended & kind persons. They also support you with berthing the boat. The sanitary facilities are clean and well kept.
