Varis

Vari Harbour lies in the north of the island of Syros in the west of Ormos Vari Bay. Near the mole, which encloses the area for the local boats, boats anchor in a sandy seabed with good holding or tie up with mooring lines. In the vertex of the bay the water depth is between 2 and 4 m. The bay and the harbour are protected from all winds. There is a fuel station about 1 km away towards Ermoupolis. There are a variety of restaurants and cafés on the harbour promenade. Shopping amenities can be found in the town.
