As an attractive spa town, Bad Schwartau has an adventure pool, a sauna, a shopping center as well as small and large stores, restaurants and cozy pubs. Regional trains leave Bad Schwartau approximately every half hour, while buses run to the city center of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck every 10 to 15 minutes. Lübeck's old town with its UNESCO World Heritage sights can be reached in just under 10 minutes by train or around 20 minutes by bus.
