Marina Porec is open all year round and only has a capacity of 120 berths, all of which have water and power. Many berths have been claimed by permanent berth holders and are quickly full in high season. Therefore, there is not much space left for visiting yachts.

A lot of experience is needed to pass through the narrow lanes if arriving on a larger yacht. For pleasure crafts with a larger draught, only the western part of the harbour is suitable as the other jetties do not have enough water depth. When there's a northerly wind, the swell can make the berths at Marina Porec somewhat unpleasant.

The sanitary facilities with showers and WC are located in the main office building in the southern part of the harbour. The fuel station is at the small mole north of the marina.
Outside of the yacht harbour, you will find mooring buoys subject to fees, but ships sailing by and the wind cause unpleasant swells. Furthermore, you can often hear loud disco music until the early hours of the morning in summer at the waterfront.

In addition, there are a few berths, some with moorings, alongside the quay wall in the historic centre of Porec, to the west of the small mole. They also have water and power, but are very expensive.

Shopping in Porec
In Porec, there are several large shopping centres and a discount store and other good shopping amenities. There is a supermarket with a good range of products in the immediate vicinity of the harbour. Provisions can also be bought at a daily fruit and vegetable market and fish market as well as several bakeries and butcher's.

Food and leisure in Porec
In the historic centre of Porec, which is within easy walking distance of the marina, many restaurants, bars and cafés have opened. They are not very cheap around the main square or at the harbour.

You cannot leave Porec without having seen the Euphrasius Basilica, which has become a UNESCO world heritage site. The historic centre is surrounded by a fortification wall with three towers and some parts are still in good condition. Marafor Square and the museum of local history in Porec are also worth visiting .

The beautiful Baredine cave is approx. 14 km north of Porec.

Many beaches in the area around Porec have been awarded a Blue Flag and they offer many water sports, such as diving, surfing or jet skiing. Apart from the usual sports you can play on land, there is also a climbing garden, free climbing and paintball in Porec.
