Poreč is an ancient coastal city, which is very popular among tourists. The port is located northwest of Marina Poreč, on the western end of the peninsula, directly in the Old Town. Between the customs jetty and the hotel Plaze approx.. 20 yachts can berth with mooring lines. The depth at the quay is 2-3 m. Superyachts berth alongside at the long jetty in front of the Plaza hotel. Water and electricity (20 Kuna per day) are available, sanitary facilities not. The harbor is well protected by an island barrier and breakwater. Temporarily, the entrance is from the south. Especially during summer you often hear loud music, sometimes until the morning. On the last weekend in August, a great music festival is held in Poreč. Restaurants and shops are at 5 minutes’ walk from the harbor to the old town.
The 32 buoys in the bay and in front of the northern breakwater are also operated by the port authorities. The buoys are for yachts up to 15-20 meter length. Reservation is not possible, but except few weeks in August it is usually no problem to find a free buoy.
