Spetsai old harbour

Spetses harbour is not only very popular with tourists but also with the Athenians, which means that it is very difficult to get a berth here. Local skippers have also reported that people are given flimsy reasons when they get turned away from free berths. The famous Greek hospitality does not seem to have reached these parts. A pity, as Spetses is a very pretty place and also has good restaurants. If space permits and you can double moor, then you have to try the fish à la Spetsiosa, a fish casserole with vegetables and cheese au gratin.
