Fournoi Harbour, also called Kampos, lies in the west of the island of Fournoi and is sheltered from winds. When the Meltemi blows, there is a swell in the harbour and it can get dangerous. Yachts moor at the NE town quay at a water depth of up to 10 m. A few mooring lines are available to moor bow-to or stern-to. The anchorage does not hold, it is safer to moor alongside a fishing boat if their owners agree to it. Kampos is the only large town in the island. Restaurants, shopping amenities and nautical service providers are centred around here.
