Description

The cove is completely surrounded by a dense pine forest and gives it a real mountain lake feeling. Berths are sheltered, but there are strong northerly gusts in the bay. Yachts moor stern-to with a long shore line on the western bank. The shore line needs to be long as it is very shallow in front of the bank. At the vertex of the bay, the water is less than 1 m deep. As the bay is so beautiful and sheltered, Ormos Panormou is full during the season and it is not that easy to get a good berth. You can get to the beach with a dinghy boat where you will find some taverns and a small food store. You can sit in the taverns right by the sea and enjoy the glorious views.
