The entrance of Lefkas Ma...
rina is only a passing between the island and the mainland channel. Channel is right after 2nm long buoyed fairway if you’re coming from the south or behind a pontoon when coming from the west. The entrance to the marina is located right on the canal and due to the lighting of both the fairway as well as the harbor entrance at night no problems should arise. Prior to entering, you should announce yourself via radio in the office of the marina to get assigned to one of the moorings.
Overall, Lefkas marina has 620 well protected berths that all have a power and water connection, and a further 280 places on land.
The showers and toilets in the three sanitary blocks are clean and well maintained and distributed on the grounds that they can be easily reached from any pier. A gas station is right next to the harbor entrance. For vehicles and trailers, several designated parking spaces are available.
Shopping The Lefkas Marina has a supermarket, a nautical shop, sail maker, laundry service and much more. Very good services will be found also in the city center. In addition to several large supermarkets and discount stores, there are also fruit and vegetable shops, fish markets and a few bakeries and butchers complement the excellent offer. Food and Leisure On the grounds of the marina are several restaurants and cafe-bars and along the city’s pier and in the adjacent streets and alleys of Lefkas countless other good restaurants, taverns and bars have settled. During an earthquake, the city of Lefkas was almost completely destroyed but since much emphasis was placed on a most faithful reconstruction none of the charm of the narrow, winding streets of the town was lost and strolling along them you’ll see many churches and museums.
