Description

Corfu Harbour lies in the town of the same name in the east of the island of Corfu. Yachts moor at the breakwater alongside or “Mediterranean style” where the water is between 0.5 and 5 m deep. The protected harbour is always very popular. It only gets dangerous when a south wind blows. Many excursion boats moor in the harbour and yachts often have to leave the mole and moor elsewhere to let the excursion boats pass. Expect a swell generated by the ship traffic. The water is dirty, there is an unpleasant odour especially in summer. There are a variety of restaurants and shopping amenities nearby.
