In the north of the island of Paros, which is one of the Cyclades, located in the south of the large bay Naosis is Marina Naoussa which was opened in 2006. The bay is surrounded by jagged cliffs, the sea shimmers in the most beautiful shades of blue. When entering the bay, the white lighthouse on the cape Korakas serves as a landmark and long-drawn breakwater in the harbor can be seen from afa...
r. Due to the lighthouse and lights in the harbor, entrance at night is easy.
The harbor in Naoussa is divided into two areas. While the eastern part is reserved for Naoussa fishing boats the marina is located in the western part. There are, according to official figures, 74 berths and at each place is a power and water connection available. However, since the basin is narrow, there’s less space for bigger yachts and ships with a deeper draft should also make sure if the water depth decreases toward the landside pier quickly. Maneuvering in high winds sometimes goes without problems since it’s a small harbor.
With the expanding of the marina was forgotten to extend the northern breakwater and has thus caused a wide-open entrance to the marina at Meltemi with significant swell on Northerlies, which can be dangerous during longer-lasting wind.If the wind is more than 6 Bft. it is recommended to leave the marina.
Yachts are moored with bow anchor and stern lines on the northern breakwater or - if corresponding draft - also on the southern quay. During lowering of the anchor, pay attention to the water blocks for mooring lines on the bottom of the harbor. The key for the showers and toilets are obtained from the harbor master on whom you can also request a tanker, which then supplies fuel on the wharf.
Naoussa has transformed from a simple fishing village into a popular holiday destination. It is very comfortable to sit in one of the taverns on the waterfront and see the sun sparkle in the glass while waiting for freshly fried fish. The Cyclades are pure happiness.
Shopping Very close to the harbor are very good supply options available - several supermarkets, small grocery stores and a bakery. Food and Leisure Many restaurants, taverns and bars have settled mostly around the harbor, but also in the center of Naoussa, mostly specializing in Greek cuisine.
In the historic center of Naoussa are several smaller and larger churches, but are mostly closed. The main church of Panagia is located on a hill and from here you have a beautiful view over the entire bay. Another beautiful church and a circular Venetian tower are reached across the eastern breakwater of the harbor (often flooded by the sea).

Die Bucht ist super. Ankergrund sehr gut. Unzählige Ankerplätze. In der Marina ist es eng, tw. seicht, auch nach Aussagen von Griechen die schlechteste Marina in der Gegend.
