Porto Cheli is very popular with water sports enthusiasts. Sailors, motorboat users, paragliders, jet skiers and many more run around here every year. It its difficult to find spaces in the harbour in the season. To be on the safe side, ring beforehand or wait to be allocated a space. Yachts moor bow-to or stern-to at the quay at a water depth of up to 3 m. Alternatively, there are a few mooring lines available, but they are often taken by permanent berth holders. Additionally, there are many anchorages in the bay. It is not allowed to obstruct ferry traffic. The anchorages are protected from winds, but expect a swell from the SE and from the ferries. The anchorages in the bay are protected, the anchoring ground is good, but make sure the anchor holds. A variety of taverns, supermarkets, bars and much more cater for all tastes.
