The Villa Rava on the island of the same name is located in a small bay on the west side of the island and is really popular among boaters. The staff is very helpful and friendly, the freshly prepared dishes are praised by the guests. Whether freshly caught fish, mussels, meat dishes or pasta - there is something for every taste. Selected wines and refined desserts complete the gastronomic experience.
For guests who come with a yacht, there are also some buoys available in addition to the berths on the quay. The depth here is 5-10m.
Super expensive €€€€€ cash only.
We have stopped at Villa Rava the past 3 years - but this year a NO!
Each year the prices got higher and the food quality was average.
Don’t expect to be able to pay via credit card - every year we ask, we are told yes and then when it comes time to pay; there is a technical problem and you must pay cash.
No menu, last year we were asked what we would like for dinner at 4pm. We said maybe some fish, shrimp, muscles, we will see. Dinner was at 7, when we sat down they just brought food, we never even had a chance to order! Then they magically ran out of house wine, when we got the check, the alternative was 2 1/2 times the price. Disgusting. Yes the setting is beautiful - but no more. Every year they find a new way to charge higher and higher prices. Avoid!! Spend your money elsewhere. Last year dinner for 4 people, mixed cold seafood starter and hot seafood plate for main - there was no a lot of food either and 3 bottles wine (2 house and 1 next option) cost €480 insane!
