Description

In the northeast of the island Vis lies the picturesque bay Stončica. Surrounded by green pine forests is the well-protected bay in whose cove is a small beach with crystal clear water. The bay is quite deep and on the rocky bottom the anchor holds badly. The port office Vis has deployed some buoys in the bay, but these can not be reserved and are almost always occupied. On the shore, under shady trees, is the tavern Stončica, known for its lamb and fresh fish. The operator has deployed a jetty for his restaurant guests in front of the swimming area. Here you can berth with mooringlines stern to the jetty. Since there are just a few places, a reservation is highly recommended.
