The harbor Komiža is protected by a high breakwater. Berths with mooring lines, electricity and water for yachts up to 3 m draft are at the pier. In case of strong winds and Bora distance to the pier must be kept and the moorings enforced. During westerly winds entering the marina can be dangerous. Buoys, north of the breakwater, offer yachts additional mooring facilities. In midsummer, one often hears loud disco music. A supermarket and several restaurants are also on site.
