Ormos Planitis is a bay nearly completely enclosed on the north coast of the island of Pelagonisi. The swell reaches up to the narrow opening of the bay (70 m), which can be problematic when a strong north wind is blowing. It becomes calmer once your are within the bay. The bay is completely natural and does not offer any kind of amenities for buying provisions. Only a few goats graze leisurely at the waterside. The bay is virtually empty in the low season. Anchoring with a bow anchor or a shore line is possible.

With strong N wind it can be difficult to leave the bay !! ( 82m wide)

Sehr guter Schutz, fast Immer Platz

What I liked:

Die Planitis Bucht bietet auch in der Hochsaison immer einen sicheren Ankerplatz. An land gibt es - außer ein paar Schafe - nichts.

Sehr gut geschützte Bucht und sehr viele Ankermöglichkeiten. Man hört nur ein paar Ziegen oder Schaafe an Land, sonst nichts. Es können heftige Böen durch die Bucht pfeifen, aber es gibt wenig Welle.
