The Preveza Marina is part of the city port of Preveza, located on the west coast of Greece on a canal that connects the Gulf Ambracian to the Ionian Sea. Originally planned as a pure ferry and industry port, increasing tourism was taken as an opportunity to build a yachting marina, but the development has stalled and is still not completed.

site Aktium peninsula some charterers have settled in the harbor to start their trips from here to the Ionian Islands, and accordingly it is full and always on the go, especially on the weekends. However, the noise between the work on the cargo ships and the sound of the waterfront here falls hard; peacefull in the harbor is as good as never.
The entrance to the channel is difficult to detect at a distance, but it can be related to the take-offs and landings on the airport; as you approach, the buoys on the waterway are visible since they’re lit up like the marina entrance. In the marina one docks either with bow or stern while alongside the town’s pier one mainly moors. The service column for electricity and water were already installed, but are not yet connected and water is currently available only on shore. There are also no sanitary facilities and fuel is supplied by a small tanker.
Shopping Preveza has excellent catering facilities. Near the harbor is a supermarket and in the center of the city are more grocery stores and a market hall.
Food and Leisure In close proximity to the port and the parallel streets are some good and above all inexpensive restaurants and taverns offering mainly traditional Greek dishes.
The historic town of Preveza has 3 well-preserved forts, buildings from the Venetian period and ancient churches and the scenic waterfront ideal for strolling. Recommended is a trip to the ruins of the former Roman town of Nikopolis, located 7 km northeast of the city.

The electricity use complicated and expensive. No warm shower in my shower although the one next to me had warm water. Long waiting time to enter the harbour (1 hour)
