Port Kastos is a small, sleepy fishing village with few tavernas and a minimarket. The only harbour in this island fills up rapidly during the season. Yachts go stern- or bow to the eastern mole. Depth ranges from 1,5 to 4 m on the outer end. The corner of the mole is rocky and partly shallow. Alternatively yachts can also drop their anchor on 3-4 m and go stern to the western part using a long line ashore which can be fixed at the staples along the promenade.
The bottom is not always holding good. The shelter inside the harbor is good even some katabatic winds from NE may appear during the night.
On calm weather conditions, yachts can anchor off outside the harbor.
