Livadia Harbour lies in Ormos Livadia Bay in the NE of the island of Tilos. The locals in Livadia are friendly but very reserved. There are many taverns and shopping amenities in the village. The harbour is bordered by a mole. Ferries and excursion boats moor here. In the inner harbour, yachts moor at the town quay or stern-to at the W side, the odd mooring line is available at the town quay. The harbour gets very shallow towards the shore, the water depth at the town quay is less than 1 m and up to 7 m at the mole. The harbour is protected from winds. However, a strong Meltemi wind causes downbursts in the harbour and south-easterly winds can make mooring dangerous in the harbour. Then there is also a swell in the harbour. Expect also a swell generated by the ferries and excursion boats.
