Description

Analipsi Harbour lies in Maltezana Bay in the island of Astypalaia. Boats moor at the breakwater and the pier at a water depth of up to 6 m. There is a stone revetment at the breakwater, therefore boats have to keep some distance here. At the pier boats normally moor alongside, but they can also moor bow-to or stern-to. The harbour is protected from winds. Alternatively, boats can anchor in the bay at a water depth of up to 20 m. It is very shallow between the islands of Astypalaia and Glinonisi, the approach to the east of the island of Glinonisi is safer. The water is clear and the harbour is usually not too overcrowded, even in high season. There are restaurants and shopping amenities nearby.
