Kavos Harbour near Lefkimi in Corfu was built for the mainland ferries. Excursion boats moor at the SW corner, ferries at the W quay. The harbour is dredged regularly to maintain a water depth of between 4 and 5 m. Yachts moor alongside on the N side or stern-to on the S side. It is sheltered but the prevailing winds will “push” a swell into the harbour. Expect a swell from the ferries, too. The harbour is slightly out of the way. There is a small café In the building where they also sell tickets for the ferries that has drinks and snacks. Kavos Harbour near Lefkimi sometimes gets confused with Kavos Harbour near Kavos, which is further to the south.
